Emotional Final Fire Call for DeKalb County Fireman Will Give You the Chills [Listen]

In southern DeKalb County the town of Waterman lost one of it's own, Waterman IL Asst Fire Chief David Prusa.

Prusa passed away earlier last week after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Prusa, retired from the department in 2015 and later became a volunteer at the Buffalo Range Shooting Park in Ottawa, IL. According to friends of Prusa

He loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren, they were a very important part of his life. Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Prusa gave over 20 years of service to his small town of Waterman.
