The Bears released their final cuts today. Did they waive Heisman Trophy finalist and N.I.U. Huskie standout Jordan Lynch? Here's the latest.Friday morning, a day after Jordan Lynch gained 18 yards on six carries as a backup running back in the final preseason game against the Cleveland Browns, he was waived by the Bears.

A fan favorite, Lynch could still remain with the Bears if they elect to use him on on the team’s 10-man practice squad. That could happen over the weekend once Lynch clears waivers.

According to The Rock River Times, if Jordan Lynch makes the practice squad, he can get involved in many aspects of the game. His ability at quarterback, running back and receiver could be valuable as the team prepares for upcoming games. It will also gives him the chance to improve.

Lynch could also be claimed by another team.
