Christmas For Needy Pets

The Winnebago County Animal Services is participating in the “Conway Freight, Fill the Semi Donation Drive” along with other shelters and rescues located in Winnebago County. Here's how you can donate needed supplies to take care of animals in need this holiday season.

The WCAS Volunteer Auxiliary has helped create a wish list of items that the kennel is in need of this holiday season. The objective of this event is to encourage the community to support each animal organization by donating items and to hopefully fill the semi with donations to benefit the animals.

5. Buckle dog collars(medium & large)

7. New/gently used reusable tote bags

11. Shredded paper(no short-cut/cross cut)

Conway Freight of Rockford will be placing a 28-foot semi-truck in the Noah’s Ark parking lot on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
