Blackhawks Trade Kris Versteeg

The Chicago Blackhawks will look like a very different team this year. Gone from the roster is Kris Versteeg.

WGN-TV is reporting that veteran forward Kris Versteeg has been traded to the Carolina Hurricanes.

In exchange, the Blackhawks will get Hurricanes' defensemen Dennis Robertson and Jake Massie. Also part of the deal is a fifth-round pick in 2017 for the Blackhawks.
