After keys were left in the ignition, a beer truck was stolen in Chicago.

I do understand that crime happens. Things like vehicles get stolen all the time.

There are some simple things you can do to help detour a thief for robbing you and to move to something else.

Here are the two most important ones, don't leave your keys in the ignition and lock the doors. If you don't want to follow those rules then you might as well give your car away.

Apparently, a beer delivery driver in Chicago didn't know that.

According to chicagotribune.com,

"Police are on the lookout for a missing Modelo beer truck stolen Thursday morning on the Far South Side. Thieves took off with the truck after its driver left the keys inside at 1655 E. 95th St., a Jewel grocery, about 10 a.m., police said. No one was injured, but police still have not found the truck, which possibly fled onto a nearby expressway, police said."

Sounds like somebody is going to a big free beer bash this weekend.
