BBB’s Dennis Horton On COVID-19, Free Trial Scams

More and more people are finding themselves being billed after giving a free trial offer a shot, and the scammers are really using COVID-19 to fleece their victims.

With so many people finding themselves spending a lot of time around the house, the offers of a "free trial" for all sorts of different things is really ramping up. Some scammers are hoping that you're too busy trying to keep your life together that you won't notice that you're being taken.

Also, scammers live by the motto "Never let a crisis go to waste," and they're doing their best to con people out of their hard-earned paychecks by offering a wide variety of COVID-19 related products and services, many of which are absolutely worthless.
