“Arthur” Author Coming To Rockford

Children’s author, illustrator and creator of the Arthur series on PBS, Marc Brown is coming to Rockford this Saturday. Why?

If you're young at heart, or if you have children who enjoy the Arthur Series of books and PBS Specials, you are in luck.
Marc Brown, children’s author, illustrator and creator of the Arthur series on PBS will be in town Saturday, April 11, 2015 for a live program and book signing at the Rockford Public Library.

Brown will be hosting two shows, one at 9 a.m. and one at noon, and will be signing books from 10:15 -11:30 a.m.

Tickets can be purchased online at rockfordpubliclibrary.org and are required for both the live programs and book signing events.

The event will be held in the Sullivan Theater at the Nordlof Center, 118 N. Main St.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Rockford Public Library Foundation.
