Not too many villains get their own movie. This villain however deserves one.

When Venom made his debut in the original Spiderman movies with Tobey McGuire he was a total disappointment. Casting Topher Grace, a funny guy, was a bad idea. Venom is not funny. However, fast forward to the future, give him his own movie, have him played by Tom Hardy, and you've got a winner. Hopefully.

Venom is a big deal, and this movie will be a big one too. I love the fact that they don't even show Venom in the trailer. One of the biggest knocks on Spiderman Homecoming was the fact that you basically saw the whole movie when you watched the trailer. I'm assuming they learned from that because they don't show a whole lot in this one.

If you're a mom that has no desire to see this other than the fact your kids do then maybe this will help.

That's right ladies. He's all yours. For about two hours. Then the movie will end.
