I've heard a lot of people talking about how tired they are this week, myself included. I thought I had this past holiday weekend to blame. Or, the fact that my daughter barely naps, so neither do I. Although both of these reasons are valid and contributing factors, after recently reading an article on sleep deprivation in the Huffington Post, I learned that I need a lot more sleep all the time.

Thank goodness I now have the sleep deprivation excuse to blame my extreme clumsiness, forgetfulness, and inability to make it through a movie on a Friday night on. Every time my husband gets frustrated with me, I'll just pull out this article. I now consider it my "get out of jail free" card.
