DeKalb County Sheriff's Police need your help to locate an elderly man who has been missing for four days.

Police officials are investigating a missing and endangered person case. According to DeKalb County Sheriff's Police, on Monday, January 4th, 82 year old Marvin Davis left his home in rural DeKalb County. He was driving his Burgundy/Maroon 2010 Ford Ranger extended cab pickup truck with Illinois license plate 1330216. (similar to the one pictured below)

Later that evening, Mr. Davis was stopped by the police in Sioux City Iowa for multiple traffic violations and stayed at a local hotel. He checked out in the early morning and phoned a relative stating he was traveling to Washington to be with a former companion.

Officials say that Mr. Davis suffers from early onset dementia and has not been seen or heard from since. Based on cell phone records, investigators believe he may be between Sioux City and Omaha. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office has been assisted by the Thurston County Nebraska and Woodbury County Iowa Sheriff’s Offices in searching for Mr. Davis.
