Researchers from Texas Tech University, Wayne State University & University of Texas at Austin found that men & women who use similar language (function words) during speed-dating were more important to the opposite sex than the topics they spoke about.

Basically, if you use similar language it increases your chances for a second date and better yet, still being in a relationship after 3 months

Hmm, now that's interesting. So the advice we're all given to be ourselves isn't old fashioned it's actually spot on.

The lesson being: Don't change yourself to fit what you "think" you should say. Simply, be who you are.
