One of the world's smallest antelope can be seen at Brookfield Zoo.

ABC7 shares that Brookfield Zoo welcomed a new critter into their family on June 4th.

A Kirk's Dik-Dik, known as the world's smallest antelope.

They're from Africa and this little one is part of the "Association of Zoos and Aquariums' Kirk's dik-dik Species Survival Plan".  The young dik-dik is being raised by animal care staff who are bottle-feeding the baby antelope four to five times a day."

Aww... Look at it. It's so cute.

When this little one is fully grown it will weigh between 12 to 14 pounds and stand about 14 to 16 inches tall.

Wow! That is small. That's barely over a foot tall.

Brookfield Zoo is just one of 15 accredited zoo's that have these animals.

This summer make plans to visit and see this cute little bundle of energy.
