Voting is incredibly important in every election, and the YMCA of Rock River Valley knows finding the time to voice your choice is hard to do when you have little ones to take care of. That is why they are offering up to two hours of free child care on Tuesday, November for busy parents or childcare providers who need it.

The Y's free childcare event is called "Zoe's Day Out" and is part of their larger campaign to "Rattle the Vote" and encourage voter participation.

  • Free childcare will be available at both I.D. Pennock and Northeast YMCA locations from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on November 8, 2016.
  • Parents can utilize up to 2 hours of childcare for free, but pre-registration is required, and spaces are limited.
