Sure looks a lot different then when the Cubs were battling the Indians in the World Series just last month.

The Cubs don't resume play until Spring of 2017, so that means it's time for the renovations at Wrigley to begin.

NBC5 flew over the friendly confines on Wednesday and captured what could be best described as a major league dirt hole. Yikes!

The Cubs are in the process of doing "partial facade restoration" behind home plate. Also, the bullpens are being moved under the bleachers which means that in 2017, when the season gets underway, there will no longer by any bullpen obstruction.
