Woodfire Brick Oven Pizza Is Now Open in Rockford!

Hallelujah! We no longer have to wait until Friday nights in the summer to curb our craving for delicious Woodfire Brick Oven Pizza! 

This pizza is one of the main reasons I fell in love with the Rockford City Market. If you have been to the city market, but have never tried the Woodfire Brick Oven Pizza because you thought the line was too long to get it, you owe it to yourself to try it!

Yes, Woodfire Brick Oven Pizza will be back at the Rockford City Market this year when it opens on Friday, May 22. Yes, the line will still be long to get this delicious dish, but....now you can enjoy it every day of the week if you wanted to! (Except Sundays. Your pizza addiction must take a rest on Sundays.)

Woodfire Brick Oven Pizza officially opened at 408 East State Street in downtown Rockford on May 4, and the place was packed! They're open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m. to midnight.  Although they may be closed on Sundays, let me give you a piece of advice: Your mama wants pizza this weekend. Treat her.
