Woman Robbed While Carrying In Groceries At Hampton Meadows

A Rockford was robbed at a time when most of us are most concerned about not breaking the eggs and it happened in an unusual area for that type of crime.

According to the police report, Saturday evening officers responded to a call of someone being robbed by gunpoint demanding money. WREX lists the incident occurring on McNight Circle, which is between Guilford Road and Giovanni's, off of Bell School Road.

Can we have the conversation about there no longer being a "safe" neighborhood in Rockford? Crime in the city is like a chance of scattered rain and it's hard to find point the blame.
