After a Rockford woman raised $40,000 for breast cancer research while fighting she too is fighting the disease, a Winnebago teacher/volleyball coach was so inspired she stepped up her support game.

WOW! Thank you Winnebago Volleyball players and families and friends. Our sons and I had fun with my brother and his family (Bago residents). You get it. #stage4needsmore

Those are Alicia Neubauer's own words after she learned she inspired an entire school to get behind her efforts to raise money for stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. (Alicia is currently battling stage 2 breast cancer like a champ.) In an interview with Q98.5 Alicia shared how much is funded for research of cancer she's fighting. It is incredibly underwhelming.

Winnebago High School's "Just Cure It" shirts are still available for only $15. You can see them in the post below.
