The New York Times is reporting that, "Former President Barack Obama is in advanced negotiations with Netflix to produce a series of high-profile shows that will provide him a global platform after his departure from the White House, according to people familiar with the discussions.

Obama was on David Letterman's new show 'My Next Guest Needs No Introduction' and I'm starting to wonder if that sparked interest into signing a deal with Netflix.

The Washington Post reports that, "he would also break significant new ground. There are traditional ways for ex-presidents to communicate with the public. A digital subscription service isn’t one of them."
