With the Cubs going to the World Series today, all Cub fans are wondering what about Kyle Schwarber? Will he be joining his teammates?

According to NBC Chicago, Kyle has been cleared to join them in Cleveland.

He was flown out to Cleveland Monday night to serve as a "designated hitter when the Cubs kick off the World Series against the Cleveland Indians."

Cool!

I mean this guy is a great player and he brought the Cubs to great victories last year. He started off the season with them this year until that unfortunate accident of tearing his ACL in his left knee.

"He was cleared to hit by doctors that performed his knee surgery last week, and he played in two Arizona Fall League games to determine if he was ready to be placed on the team's playoff roster."

Well obviously Kyle is ready. Now the team is back to it's full strength. I'm so happy that Kyle will get to be a part of this and not just have to watch from the sidelines or sitting in the dug out. He's as much as a part of this team as any of them.
