What Is the Charlie Charlie Challenge? [VIDEO]

I've seen something called the "Charlie Charlie Challenge" sweeping social media these last few days, so of course I had to figure out what it's all about.

Charlie Charlie: The Pencil Game is an old Mexican tradition and supernatural ritual used to contact a ghost. Basically, it is their version of a Ouija board.

Let me state for the record that things like this have always freaked me out. I hated playing "Light as a Feather; Stiff as a Board" or "Bloody Mary" at slumber parties as a kid. I don't like ghost stories or scary movies, and I want nothing to do with a Ouija board. It's not that I buy into the validity of these things, but nonetheless, I am a wimp.

Despite my uneasiness, I decided I needed to experience this Charlie Charlie Challenge for myself.
