One cold winter days like today, we all want those comfort foods that stick to your ribs and warm you up.

This easy one pot Goulash dish is sure to do the trick.

This was my first time making Goulash. I have to say following this recipe was easy, it took less than 30 minutes, and it tastes good. It's perfect for this winter chill we're going through right now.

1 & 1/2 pounds ground beef

1 onion, chopped

1 (8-ounce) package elbow macaroni

2 cups beef broth

1 (14-1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes

1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • In a soup pot over high heat, brown ground beef with onion 6 to 8 minutes, or until no pink remains in the beef, stirring frequently.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cover, and simmer 7 to 8 minutes, or until macaroni is tender. Serve immediately.
  • If desired Sprinkle with Parmesan or Cheddar Cheese.
