If you enjoy being outdoors in the forests and want to be a part of keeping them clean and beautiful, then this workday is for you.

Killbuck Bluffs is looking for volunteers this Saturday.

A workday is set for this Saturday, May 16th from 9am - 12pm at Killbuck Bluffs Forest Preserve (3061 South Bend Rd., Rockford, IL). They need volunteers to help them clean undergrowth and brush along with planting, gathering seeds and much more.

All are welcome, including families, to help with this project. They ask that children under 13 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Also, they ask that you come dressed properly to work. Wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and sturdy shoes/boots. Sandals/flip flops are not permitted. This activity is suitable for volunteers of all ages. Participants under 13 yrs. old will require adult supervision.
