Finally, Rockford gets to showcase itself in a modern way. Thanks to the State of Illinois, you can now enjoy Rockford virtually. 

According to WREX-TV, the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Illinois Department of Tourism are teaming up to give people a chance to see Rockford thru virtual tours.

These are live tours that will showcase different attractions, places to eat, and other notable spots of interest.

Here is a listing of where you can see these virtual tours, according to WREX-TV

The first tour takes place tonight at City Market at 5 PM

Monday, July 18 at 12 p.m. featuring Riverfront Museum Park

Tuesday, July 19 at 12 p.m. featuring Anderson Japanese Gardens

Wednesday, July 20 a 12 p.m. featuring downtown Rockford

Thursday, July 21 at 12 p.m. featuring Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens

Friday, July 22 at 12 p.m. featuring the Coronado Performing Arts Center and Cheap Trick.
