This video is going viral around the world. A Chicago cop’s on-duty nap, caught on video, has been viewed almost 1 million times on Facebook. And now the police department is investigating.

The video was uploaded the to Facebook on May 15. It shows a Chicago police officer at the corner of 63rd Street and South Campbell Avenue on Chicago’s South Side seated in the front seat of his police SUV, dozing off. The man who recorded the video, walks right up to the open passenger window as he narrates.

 

Fox Chicago reports that the individual who recorded the video was identified as Julian Collins on his Facebook page. He has since removed the video after it went viral.
