US Postal Services Unveils the 2016 Forever Stamps

If you collect stamps or if you get bored with the standard Liberty Bell and American Flag Forever stamps, then get ready for some really cool stamps this year.

The U.S. Postal Service just unveiled the new 2016 Postage Stamps.

If you're a "Trekkie" you're going to love this. There will be a series of 4 different Star Trek stamps, based on  the original series that will be coming out later this year. It's speculated, according to DNAInfo, that the stamps will come out in August to coinicide with the shows 50th Anniversary.

Also, joining the Star Trek stamps in 2016 will be 20 new stamps including tributes to honor "jazz singer Sarah Vaughn, actress and diplomat Shirley Temple, and educator Jaime Escalante, who inspired the movie "Stand and Deliver.",

If you're getting married this year there's a new "Love" stamp for your wedding invitations along with stamps featuring cute pets and tasty ice cream soda fountain desserts.

Honestly, I love having a variety of choices for the "Forever" stamps. No offense I love our country and know the importance of the Flap and the Liberty Bell, but frankly they're a little boring in light of these cool looking designs.
