UPS is Hiring 350 People at Their Rockford Facility

Need some extra holiday cash? United parcel Service (UPS) announced today that they are hiring approximately 350 people for their Rockford facility. The openings are for seasonal package handler jobs.

WREX-TV reports that the package handler jobs will start at $8.50 per hour. Also, seasonal package handlers will receive a bonus of $50 per week in November and $100 per week in December.

The report also indicates that nationally, to accommodate all the extra packages that are shipped during the holidays, that they plan to hire an additional 90,000 to 95,000 seasonal employees.
