The internet almost broke when Starbucks announced the limited-time Unicorn Frappuccino. Heck, I even went on the air and said it's fake. I was wrong and everyone it seemed like everyone tried the heart-clogging drink, except for me. If you haven't tried it yet you may never get to.
A Rockford Starbuck's barista told me the Forest Plaza location sold out on Wednesday in just 11 hours. That means a whole of people might need to find ways to work off all that.... whatever it is that's inside the viral Frappuccino known as 'Unicorn.'
So where can you get this incredibly colorful concoction? You're going to have to drive a ways. The bubbly barista said you might have better luck closer to Chicago, or at least the suburbs. Even then, is it worth risk of wasting a two-hour round trip drive? Probably not. Put it this way - you might have better luck finding an actual unicorn, or not?
Apparently Starbucks inside the Rockford Target location was not sold out at closing time, according to a Target Employee. But, as of 8:30 today (Friday, April 21, 2017) they have officially sold out.
