Rockford just got the Uber car service a few months ago, so does anyone want to take bets on how long it will take for the Uber food delivery service to take effect here?

I do believe Uber aims for total world domination, or at least to make the world a whole lot more convenient. Besides their taxi service, Uber is currently testing out a free ride service for drunk people, an Uber car pool service, and now they are branching out into the food delivery business. The Uber food service promises to deliver your lunch or dinner from local restaurants in 10 minutes or less, but there is a bit of a catch. Before you get all excited about having your favorite pizza delivered even faster, you need to read this. The Uber food delivery service will not just pick up any carryout for you and deliver it.  It will work based on menu choices and restaurants featured in their app.

What do you think about this? Is it an awesome new thing of the future, or is it just a way of enabling the lazy to get lazier? Jury is still out for me on this one.
