Breaking news concerning the Life Off My Years Tour coming into the BMO Harris Bank Center February 12. Here's why and who is replacing Tyler Farr in Rockford.

Tyler Farr has a wedding coming up, and the launch of a new tour with buddy Lee Brice Feb. 4. However, all that has changed after he has been ordered by doctors to complete vocal rest. Tyler posted on Twitter "Having microlaryngeal surgery and total vocal rest. I’ll keep y’all updated".

According to TylerFarr.com, "Following microlaryngeal surgery to remove a vocal polyp on his vocal chords, Columbia Nashville post modern country traditionalist Tyler Farr has been placed on total vocal rest. The power vocalist first became aware of vocal issues while on tour with Jason Aldean this summer – and the problem was identified during a severe bout of bronchitis at the end of 2015".

Doctors decided that rather than wait and see, Farr and his medical team opted to remove the polyps and begin vocal rest, followed by aggressive therapy. What it means is the next few months, Lee Brice is going to team up with Jerrod Niemann in Tyler's place.

The show in Rockford on Feb. 12 will feature Jerrod Niemann with Lee and Drew Baldridge. Get tickets at Ticketmaster.com.

Get well soon Tyler, we'll miss ya in Rockford and hopefully catch ya on the other end of the tour.
