Here's why Kraft Heinz is recalling more than 2 million pounds of Oscar Mayer turkey bacon products today.

Kraft Heinz is recalling more than 2 million pounds of Oscar Mayer turkey bacon products because it could spoil before the "Best When Used By" date according to ABC7Chicago.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture found the problem during an investigation into spoilage-related complaints.

The USDA said the recalled turkey bacon products were made between May 31 and Aug. 6. They were shipped across the U.S. and exported to the Bahamas and St. Martin.

They have the establishment number "P-9070" inside the USDA mark of inspection and the line number "RS19."

Thankfully no sickness reports have been reported so far.

Be sure to check your bacon packages if indeed you purchased Oscar Mayer turkey bacon products recently.
