You may have heard that Jonny J and I got to check out the new Gateway Parks snow attraction at Alpine Hills Adventure Park and Golf Center recently, and boy did we have a blast!

Think back to your childhood for a moment. Remember how you couldn't wait for it to snow? Not just because you could get a school snow day, but also because you would get to go tubing, build snowmen, and throw snow balls! Jonny J and I got to re-live some awesome childhood memories the other day, and I realized something: I can still scream like a little girl.

Boy, was that fun! This is something you definitely need to check out with the family!

Here's a few more awesome things I discovered at Gateway Parks:

  • If you've ever wanted to try snowboarding, this is a great place to do it. You can rent equipment, there's staff available to help get you started, and the hill isn't so steep that you get freaked out.
  • The usual downfall to snow tubing is the big trek back up the hill after sliding down it. No worries here, they have the "Magic Carpet Lift" to help you back up. Yay!
  • If you are a parent who only wants to supervise and dread standing there in the cold while the kids play, they have a cozy fire pit to keep you warm...
