It's back to school time, which also means here comes more stress, anxiety, excitement, and dread, right? As a new parent, I can only imagine how hard it must be to re-establish a daily routine after a couple months of freedom. I'm still trying to figure out how to maintain my sanity now that Ella is crawling and in to EVERYTHING!

As I was surfing the web for baby-proofing tips, I came across this article by the National Association of School Psychologists. It contains great info on how to prepare in the days ahead,  how to deal with a child's anxiety, and what to do during the first week of school to get your routine back in swing.

If all else fails, remember this: freshly baked cookies as an after school treat always make a bad day better. Or is it just me that feels this way?
