The 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards are this Sunday night starting at 7pm on CBS, and I thought it would be fun to find some old pics of some of our favorite Country stars for this Throwback Thursday.

I jumped on the Getty Images website and searched for the oldest Academy of Country Music Awards photos I could find. The farthest back they go was 1999. Let's start with that...

Here's Garth Brooks. 1999 was a good year for him. He won not only the Entertainer of the Year award, but also the Artist of the Decade award.

It's 1999 and the Dixie Chicks are where it's at. They win 3 awards including Album of the Year for "Wide Open Spaces," Top New Vocal Duet or Group, and Top Vocal Duet or Group. Yep, they had a good year too.

This is for Steve Summers. He loves Martina McBride. She's lookin' fabulous in 1999, even in that dress.

Moving on to 2000 now with Sara Evans and her bad Bridesmaid's dress.

Faith Hill is also hot in 2000 for more than one reason. She is the ACM Top Female Vocalist.

Hello, Kenny Chesney. Was this pre-bald Kenny? Who knows, who cares. He's still lookin' good?

It's 2001 now, and this was before Kenny Rogers' plastic surgeon turned him into a real hot mess.

Rascal Flatts wins Top New Group and certainly look like some young little rascals.

And my obsession begins...Keith Urban wins Top New Male Vocalist.

We can't leave out 2002, and these gems I found.

Tim McGraw sporting a little sheer action.

Reba with smaller hair.  Her TV show "Reba" premiered in 2001, and this is what I remember her looking like... Minus the Wild West saloon dress.

And finally...Oh Keith darling, what were you thinking? Love the hair, the outfit? Not so much. Not even for 2002.
