Throwback Thursday

It's graduation season, so we thought we would have some fun and relive some memories.

I will be the first to say that I am quite forgetful, and being pregnant made it even worse. Thank goodness for the "reminder" app on my iPhone, because without it, I may have forgotten to show up for work today. Ok, I'm not really that bad, but I do forget things constantly.

One thing I won't forget though, is my high school graduation day. I remember what I wore, (even without photographic proof) every song sang, how dang hot it was that day, how mad I was that the humidity ruined my hair for my big day, and how emotional and nervous I was about moving on to a new chapter of life. I even remember our class motto since I helped come up with it: "Following our dreams wherever they lead, the class of '97 will always succeed."

As Steve and I discussed graduation this morning we discovered 2 things. One, we both received the title of "Best Hair" for our graduating class, and two, our parents all suck because we can't find a solo pic of either of us from our actual high school graduation day. LOL!

And well, we aren't quite sure if Steve Summers actually attended his high school graduation, as all he could find was his college graduation picture.

One thing neither of us had in our yearbook though, was a quote to remember us by. After reading these quotes from the class of 2014, that may just be a good thing.
