On November 8th when you go to the polls to vote doing this when voting is illegal in several state, including Illinois and Wisconsin.

So I bet you're wonder what is this evil deed. Well you might not believe this but taking a selfie with you're ballot. You can be served a prison sentence for it.

WHOA! What? Yep it's true. Take a look at Chicago's Fox 32 facebook post and video about you, selfies and voting.

Wow! A 3 year sentence. Illinois sure ain't kidding around. Yikes!

So whatever you do resist the urge to snap that shot in the booth.

Wearing the "I Voted" sticker should be enough to let everyone know you did your civic duty as an American citizen.
