After 33 years in late-night television, David Letterman signs off Wednesday night. A legendary career such as this deserves a tribute, so here's ours.

The Late Show with David Letterman launched on CBS in 1993 after Letterman lost out on The Tonight Show to Jay Leno and moved his Late Night program from NBC.

As of Wednesday night, David Letterman will have hosted more than six thousand late-night broadcasts, welcomed over 19 thousand guest appearances, won 16 Emmy awards, and given us several memorable segments and moments to cherish for a lifetime.
