So, can you name the school that ranks as the best public high school in our area? We now know what schools are the best of the best.

The updated rankings are out, and the top schools have been announced. The website, Niche, crunched the data based on:

  • state test scores
  • college readiness
  • graduation rates
  • SAT/ACT scores
  • teacher quality
  • high school ratings

The site published data and rankings for public high schools in the entire state of Illinois. We went through 659 schools ranked and pulled out the Top 10 from Rockford and the Stateline area.
