The Story Behind the Budweiser 9/11 Ad That Only Aired Once

Yesterday marked the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on America, but it wasn't until today that I saw Budweiser's amazing tribute featuring their beloved clydesdales.

This ad aired only once, during Super Bowl XXXVI on February on February 3, 2002, but it turned me into a blubbering mess when I watched it for the first time this morning. It's so simple, yet the message is so very powerful in honoring the victims of 9/11.

The creators of this Budweiser ad had to "move heaven and Earth" to make it happen, and to make sure they got the message just right.
