Those of you that love summer may think I'm crazy, but I have found myself dreaming of cider, pumpkins, and donuts the last few days. You see, I LOVE fall, and a trip to The Pumpkin Patch in Caledonia is always a must-do on my fall bucket list. This fall is going to be especially exciting, because The Pumpkin Patch is under new ownership and they are promising "new twists" on the usual fall fun!

I loved going to The Pumpkin Patch as a kid. I have numerous pictures of my head popping out through all those fun painted photo murals. I would take my picture by the "How Tall This Fall" sign every year until my height stopped changing, and I got depressed. Every year I ate my weight in their delicious orange frosted cider donuts. My husband and I made The Pumpkin Patch a yearly fall tradition when we began dating, and we will continue to do so for many years to come with our family.

By now I think you get it, I love The Pumpkin Patch, so I was filled with eager anticipation when I saw this post of the their Facebook page earlier this month.

I don't like to talk smack about one of my favorite places, but I must admit, The Pumpkin Patch has looked a little rough the last few years. Perhaps a new generation of love and T.L.C. is all it needed. I can't wait for opening day!
