Sick of the cold?  You may change your mind when you hear this...

Believe it or not, all this cold courtesy of our friend, Polar Vortex, could lead to weight loss! Medical journal, Trends in Endocrinology and Metabolism, recently published a study suggesting that being exposed to indoor temperatures that are a bit lower than you are used to may actually burn fat!  For young and middle-aged people, "non-shivering heat production can burn away up to 30% of body's energy, thus contributing to weight loss. So it's not entirely out of the question that bouts of chilliness can drive this process and melt away pounds."

So...you think we can get skinny by turning down the thermostat a little?  I'm willing to try!  :)
