The Loves Park Heart Has A New Look And We Couldn’t Be Prouder

If you live in and travel through Loves park, you will notice a different look of the famous Loves Park heart.

Everyone is familiar with the Loves Park 'city with a heart' heart shaped sign in the center of town.  Today, the sign has a whole new different look, or a very good reason.

A blue and black ribbon in memory of Rockford Police Ofc Jaimie, now drapes the lower portion of the iconic sign in Loves Park.

The Loves Park Police Department shared the photo on social media and wrote:

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and fellow officers of Officer Jaimie Cox during this difficult time. May the outpouring of love serve as a reminder to them of how much Jaime was loved by all who knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers go out Ofc Jaime Cox, his family, friends and all who know him.
