The Hardest Part of Delivering Free Lunch

Every week, we award free lunch from Maciano's Pizza to loyal Q98.5 listeners who tune in Q98.5 or Q985online.com at work. What is the hardest part of delivering the goods?The pick up of lunch for 15 listeners at Maciano's on Perryville Road, or on Harrison Avenue in Rockford every Wednesday, is easy. The food is always ready, right at noon, and straight from the oven. The way you want it every time.

The hardest part is driving to the address and place of employment of the Q98.5 listener who wins. The aroma of fresh pizza and garlic bread fills the car. Your hunger kicks in and you are temped to grab some lunch for yourself. However, common sense takes over and you deliver the goods fresh and ready to go, untouched.

The smiles on the faces of the Q98.5 listeners when we walk into their place of employment is worth the temptation.
