When it comes to Turkey there are a lot of different ways to prepare it. You can put it in the oven in the old bag or you can use a smoker, but one way to prepare your favorite holiday bird that's become extremely popular in the last ten years is Deep Frying it. Another gift from our neighbors to the south with deep Louisiana roots. I have been married to a Cajun for 20 years and trust me, they really know how to transform something that's healthy into something that's not. But the taste is amazing, so why not go all out. Isn't Thanksgiving our national cheat day?

The bird is fried in peanut oil and injected with cajun seasonings. If you mentioned a Deep fried Turkey 15 years ago most people wouldn't have any idea what you were talking about but now it's a mainstream way to prepare your Thanksgiving Turkey.

Another method that's been popular is smoking your Turkey. Which gives it a robust flavor depending on what wood you use. If brined properly, this Turkey is super tasty. It will take some hours to cook but the flavor is amazing. So when it comes to the bird on your Thanksgiving table what's your favorite method to prepare it? smoked, oven roasted or fried?
