The Mediterranean diet is high in fresh fruits and vegetables, low in red meat and sugar, and allows you to drink wine. It could help with weight loss, heart health, and diabetes prevention.

Let me guess, the word that really jumped out at you there was wine. That may be one of the main reasons this diet is the best option. It allows you to eat and drink the things you love while also maintaining a healthy eating regime. Insider also details -
