The Chicago Bears Sign Former Saint Tracy Porter

Tracy Porter has appeared in 68 games with 60 starts over seven seasons with New Orleans (2008-11), Denver (2012), Oakland (2013) and Washington (2014), gathering 288 tackles, 10 interceptions – three of which he returned for touchdowns, 52 pass break-ups, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, 17 tackles for losses and 2.5 sacks.
According to WTVO TV and MyStateline.com, the former 2008 second-round (40th overall) draft selection of the Saints out of Indiana University has started all six playoff games, recording 33 tackles, two interceptions, three pass break-ups, one forced fumble and two tackles for losses.
In Super Bowl XLIV as a member of the Saints, he returned a fourth-quarter Peyton Manning interception 74 yards for a touchdown to seal a 31-17 victory over Indianapolis, helping New Orleans to their first ever Super Bowl Championship.
