It's not customary for us to post these sorts of photos on our website, but in this case we'll make an exception. If it were a photo of my "girls," I would post it too; especially if they could save a life. 

We ladies know the importance of self-examination, but something like this can be so easily missed.

Shortly after receiving the terrible news that she had stage 2 breast cancer, and shortly before she had her breast removed, Lisa Royle decided to post a picture of it with the hope of helping women everywhere.

Ok so I never thought I'd post a boob picture on Facebook but I thought I would before it gets chopped off next week....

Thank you, Lisa for alerting us. I'm sure this info will save countless lives. Ladies, if you don't do so already, look at your boobs. Really look at them. Men, help your lady look for signs like this. We may not see them ourselves, and I bet your visibility angles are much better than ours.
