The Chicago Cubs had an amazing 2015 season and missed the world series by only a few games. To make the memory of the season last a little longer, the Cubs are allowing fans to take home squares of sod from Wrigley Field for free. Here's when and how you can grab a roll for your yard.

It may seem expensive, but it keeps Wrigley Field looking it's best every season. Every year, the Cubs replace much of the grass in the field during the off season. This year, they plan to cut the sod into 18 inch x 18 inch sections and place them outside the field for fans to take home free of charge.

According to NBC Chicago, the sod will be available through Nov. 3 on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans can find the pieces of Wrigley Field sod along Sheffield Avenue just north of Addison Street near the "knothole gate."

Just take it home, put it in your yard or a family members yard, and you will truly be the "Ultimate Cubs Fan", curse or no curse.
