Rockford Sharefest is back again to help beautify our community. This year instead of fixing up one of Rockford schools, they going to be cleaning up Alpine Park and Pool.

Calling all gardeners. The town of Fairdale, IL needs your help in beautifying the town this weekend.

Talk about lending a helping hand. 20 volunteers from 200 miles away showed up in Fairdale yesterday to build a home for a tornado victim and his wife.

I know it's only the end of October but Goodwill is looking forward to tax season and they are in need of volunteers.

It's been 4 months since the April 9th tornado, the town of Fairdale is still getting help from good citizens here and far, including the Chicago White Sox. Pitcher David Robertson will be paying the town a visit this Thursday.
