Admit it. At some point you have made that 2 a.m. run to Taco Bell, and then realized upon returning home that you were in no condition to make that run for the border. A delivery service from Taco Bell sure would have come in handy then, and it may be a reality very soon!

Seriously. I would not joke about this. I love me some Taco Bell.

Taco Bell's CEO, Brian Niccol, recently told Nation's Restaurant News that the 2015 plans for Taco Bell do indeed include delivery. They will soon begin the testing process, and they are working hard to figure out the logistics of it. He does admit though, they haven't got it all figured it all out yet.

I imagine they do have a lot to figure out to make this work. First off, there's the problem of demand. Have you seen the line at a Taco Bell at 2:30 a.m. on a Friday or Saturday night? They will have to employ several delivery drivers I'm thinking.

Secondly, there's the issue of time. Will they be able to deliver my Nachos Bell Grande fast enough so that the tortilla chips don't get soggy, and for my burrito to still be warm?

It sounds like a tough hurdle to pass, but I bet they will make it happen. Now, the ultimate question left to answer is: Once figured out, will the Taco Bell delivery service actually be offered here in Rockford? Only time will tell, I guess.
