Before the riding season hits the area, Suzuki Motorcycles has issues a recall of bikes. Here's why and which bikes are involved.

Here's another recall, but the good news is it can be fixed before the busy motorcycle season begins here in the Stateline.

According to WIFR TV-23, "Suzuki is recalling more than 68,000 motorcycles in the U.S. because the battery charging system can fail and cause the bikes to stall. The recall affects 15 models from the 2008 to 2012 model years".

Hundreds of complaints have been voiced by enthusiasts in the past few months. They are even receiving complaints from other countries.

Dealers will replace the charging system regulator-rectifier to fix the problem.

"If you own a Suzuki, you'll be notified when the recall notices are mailed in early March of this year. The recalls will be free to Suzuki motorcycle owners", according to WIFR TV-23.

You really don't want your cycle to stall in traffic at anytime. Hopefully, you can get your recall completed before the riding season gets here.
